Who will be Manny Pacquiao's next opponent?

Manny Pacquiao is world champion again and so begins the talks, speculation and negotiations Pacquiao's next fight in 2017.

After unanimously defeating Jessie Vargas to reclaim his WBO world welterweight title on Saturday, Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38 KOs) has various money-spinning options -- but one stands out above the rest.

Now we know the Filipino has no intention of retiring from boxing just yet, who is he likely to face next?

Floyd Mayweather (49-0, 26 KOs)

The ringside presence of Mayweather for Pacquiao's win over Vargas sparked speculation about a rematch next year -- and it is the most lucrative fight for Pacman.

Terence Crawford (29-0, 20 KOs)

The WBC-WBO world light-welterweight champion was another in attendance at the Thomas & Mack Centre in Las Vegas on Saturday to check on Pacquiao's form.

Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1, 4 KOs)

Third choice is the Ukrainian WBO world super-featherweight champion, who many expect to become the next multi-weight world champion star after Pacquaio is gone.

Danny Garcia (32-0, 18 KOs) or Keith Thurman (27-0, 22 KOs)

The chance to unify the world welterweight belts will be an appealing one for Pacquiao if Mayweather stays retired.

Kell Brook (36-1, 25 KOs)

Waiting in the wings if all else fails is Britain's IBF world welterweight champion -- but he may not be available for May.
