Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor mega-fight is on!

The much-hyped Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight has been scheduled for August 26 in Las Vegas.

Mayweather broke the news Wednesday on Instagram:

McGregor simply tweeted, "The fight is on":

Both pugilists stand to make tens of millions of dollars on this boxing event. Mayweather is heavily favored, which had to play a role in his decision to come out of retirement. McGregor will be looking to legitimize mixed martial arts to boxing fans -- no easy feat against an undefeated champ known for making opposing fighters look silly. Mayweather will also be fighting to go 50-0.
